Tomb of the Ashen Crown

The King's Hand travel to the tomb, wanting to make their way as quickly as possible in the hopes of completing their task and returning to the city by nightfall. On the way, Elim pulls Via aside and speaks to her about the prophecy her mother said to him. He requests that should she ever see his future that she not tell him it, as he wanted to face his fate as naturally as he could. Via agrees to respect his wishes.

After arriving at the tomb, the party breaks through the stone door and makes their way down, finding a trail of fresh blood amongst all the dead. After traveling in deeper, the group is accosted by several undead. The King's Hand fights them off and seals the tunnels that reinforcements were entering through. After a brief rest, the group carries on.

Traveling deeper, they find a large room with an ashen dragon, with corpses being tossed down to it. They quickly realize battle isn't an option against such a large dragon, and are able to successfully sneak past it and proceed deeper into the tomb.

Eventually, the King's Hand enters into a large chamber, clearly the heart of the tomb where the most prominent dead have been buried. A Tarkirian throne was placed in the center, with a withered figure sitting upon it, not quite a corpse but not quite alive either. Six figures surround the throne, reciting a chant about how the figure wouldn't rest until dragons ruled the world again.

The figures then detect the presence of the King's Hand, and both sides prepare for battle.
