Importance:
Marik's old tutor, found years later running the Bronze Compass in Solebreuve, who recognised the heirs and gave nothing away. Talon saved his life once, which is how he came to teach Marik at all. Circe told him he would one day be approached by a broken hand and must aid them whatever it cost. He lifted the Severing Needle out of the Sanctum Depths vault himself, and later put himself between Kaeleth Antlersworn and a downed Marik.
Since then
Your mother told me a broken hand would come for me one day, and that I was to help it whatever the cost. I have been waiting a long while to find out what she meant.
