The Storm Part 2

Moving forward, the King's Hand engages with more cultists, this time being led by one Daviid Lorant. Despite a rough battle, they are able to defeat the cultists and Edwinn is able to slay Davide before he can escape once again.

Moving to the final room, they arrive at the scene of the ritual, where a amalgamation of dragon parts have been sewn together in a giant dragon, with Thorn' Sibling stuck to the head to be used as the primary catalyst. Despite a close fight where several members of the King's Hand went down, they were finally able to defeat Aurelius as Xepharos fired an incredibly powerful spell after Captain Moreau made him vulnerable to magic.

With the dragon and area falling apart, the King's Hand quickly saves Thorn's sibling and escapes. Meanwhile, Cailynn and Xepharos veilwalk and channel the souls used for the ritual away to a better realm, preventing everyone in the area from dying. As they fled, the chambers collapsed around them, killing and trapping anyone who didn't escape inside.

With the ritual stopped, the King's Hand stand virtuous in their stand against the cult, earning a true victory for themselves. With that, it's time to turn back to the remaining business before returning to Ederia.
