About Marik
Twenty-three, half-orc, and the opposite of cautious: he enters violent tournaments every year, gets beaten badly, gets up and comes back, and criticises his own performance immediately afterwards regardless of the result. He is a Veltaris and a Falkrest and suspects that neither side would have a use for him if he stopped winning. He grew up listening to his parents fight through a closed door, which is where the horror of being lied to comes from — it is not calm principle, it is personal.
