Rohavi Varason
Importance:
An old flame of Xanthe's who proposed before he left and never got an answer, then wrote years later to ask again. His father was killed in the attack on Skyhaven. He rode to Crown's Rest to petition Talon for the Chancellorship of the Treasury and was granted it - then admitted the seat was never the point. He goes to one knee in the gardens at Faithspire, and the ring he offers holds death at bay.
Since then
I told your father that serving would be the second greatest honour of my life. I did not tell him what the first would be.
