The Zharaaki man who delivered a young Cailynn to Talon's court after her mother died, and who killed the others in that escort once they learned her lineage. He teaches Cailynn to walk the veil in their ancestral forms - himself a bear, Cailynn a young wolf - and warns her what waits on the other side of an invitation. He enters the Sentinel Festival with her encouragement and fights beside the heirs the night of the massacre.
Since then
